Dia 1

Welcome to your Europamundo journey!Early departure from Madrid to Castilla. We make a brief stop at the Viewpoint of the 4 posts overlooking the magnificent walls of ÁVILA. Almost on the border with Portugal we make a stop in CIUDAD RODRIGO to take a walk to see its cathedral, wall and medieval streets. We continue towards Portugal. PORTO, arrival and accommodation. Sightseeing tour of this city, the second largest city in Portugal known for its wines. At the end of the city tour we will visit a century-old winery. Free time.Note: If the number of passengers between Madrid and Porto is very small, this part can be done by plane, canceling in this case the stop in Ciudad Rodrigo.

Dia 2

Today we have beautiful landscapes in the north of Portugal. A walk through BRAGA, the religious capital of Portugal with its old cathedral. We take the oldest cable car in the world to the Sanctuary of BOM JESÚS, beautiful views, we suggest walking down admiring its wonderful staircase. GUIMARAES was the first capital of Portugal, its Palace of the Dukes reminds us of it. Time for lunch. Beautiful landscapes full of vineyards, going down to the Douro Valley. We pass by SABROSA, the birthplace of Magellan. At PINHAO we get to know its wonderful train station with all its tiles and we include a small cruise of approximately one hour along the Douro River (Note: From November to March the cruise does not operate, taking a trip along the panoramic road with stops at viewpoints following the Douro bank) We continue to COIMBRA, arriving at the end of the day. Dinner included in the hotel.

Dia 3

Time in COIMBRA, the third city in Portugal known for its old University and steep streets full of charm. We continue towards the south, we stop at the BATALHA MONASTERY (entrance included), an impressive medieval mausoleum of kings. Time for lunch and a walk in NAZARÉ, a town of fishermen and a seaside resort. We include the “elevator” that takes us up to the ancient city with impressive views of the Ocean. Already on our way to LISBON we make a stop in ÓBIDOS, one of the most beautiful towns in Portugal, with its white streets full of flowers. LISBON, arrival around 19:30 hrs.

Dia 4

In the morning we will have a city tour, during which we will get to know the Portuguese capital of the 7 hills, the alleys and the tiles, the "saudade" and the Atlantic light. We will also approach the Belem neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators, who crossed the oceans in the 15th century, left. Free time in the afternoon to walk and go to the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint; if you´d like to, you could take an optional excursion to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. In the evening we return from the Restauradores Square, full of atmosphere with its bars and cafes, to the hotel.

Dia 5

We will leave Portugal early, we will cross the beautiful region of Alentejo. We will make a stop for a coffee in ESTREMOZ, a charming town with a medieval castle, cobblestone streets, beautiful architecture and peaceful atmosphere that reflect Portuguese authenticity. We pass to Spain. In CÁCERES you can have lunch and a walk through its historic center, one of the best-preservedmedieval and Renaissance urban complexes in the world. We continue to MADRID, arrival in the evening.

After breakfast, end of our services.
