Dag 1

Welcome to Europamundo! Upon arriving at the airport, we will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel. Check the information boards in the hotel reception area for details of the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers.

Dag 2

Full day Mediterranean Cruise. After breakfast we include a transfer to the port of Lavrio. Departure at 11 a.m.- Enjoy the landscapes from the sea. 18:00 hrs- Expected arrival in Mykonos. Free time on the island of windmills and white houses by the sea.-23:00 hrs.- Mykonos, departure. Overnight on board.

Dag 3

After breakfast, transfer to the port for embarkation, at 12.00 hrs we start our cruise. Patmos- Arrival at the island where the Apostle John wrote the Apocalypse. At 9:00 p.m. departure. Overnight on board.

Dag 4

Full day Mediterranean Cruise.07.00hrs.- RHODES. Arrival. Impressive walled city, which was protected in the past by one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: The Colossus of Rhodes. Visit of Medieval Rhodes included. 18.00 hrs- Departure. Our cruise ship sails out to the sea again. Enjoy on board.

Dag 5

Full day Mediterranean Cruise.07.00 Hrs.-HERACLION.- Arrival in the capital of the Greek island of Crete next to the archaeological remains of Knossos. In the middle of the morning we continue to SANTORINI, probably the most impressive of the Mediterranean islands, its ravines, its white villages full of light, the breathtaking views over the sea. At 21.00 hrs our cruise ship sails the sea again, night on board - enjoy the party on board-.

Dag 6

Arrival in Athens. We disembark and travel to the Peloponnese region. We make a brief stop next to the Corinth Channel, an impressive work of art from the end of the nineteenth century. We continue through the mountains towards TRIPOLI, capital of the Arcadia region. Stop in this active city and time for a stroll around the area of the Plaza Areos with its cafes and restaurants. We continue our route to OLYMPIA where we will visit the archaeological site (entrance and visit with a local guide included). The first Olympic Games were held here in 776 B.C., where athletes from all over Greece and its colonies participated. Highlights include the Temple of Zeus, the stadium, the gymnasium, and the arena. We continue to PATRAS, the third most populous city in Greece, a lively port city with a remarkable medieval fortress. Its cathedral is the largest church in Greece and next to it, the small church of St. Andrew is a place of pilgrimage. Dinner included.

Dag 7

After breakfast, we will cross over the Rio-Antirrio bridge, an impressive cable-stayed bridge which connects the Peloponnese with the Greek continent. We travel across the Central Greece regions and the Epyrus. IGOUMENITSA, arrival at this coastal city; free time for a walk before taking the modern ferry (expected departure time at 14:00h) on which we will cross the Ionian Sea towards Italy. Arrival at BRINDISI by the end of the day (arrival time expected at 21:00h). Lodging.

Dag 8

Today we will visit two spectacular and authentic towns. ALBEROBELLO, charming town famous for its unique conical-shaped houses known as "trulli". These unique structures, with their stacked stone roofs, are a World Heritage Site and are considered an outstanding example of Italian rural architecture. After that we continue to MATERA, located in the Basilicata region, known for its ancient historic center with its "Sassi di Matera", a complex of ancient houses and buildings carved into the rock that date back thousands of years. It is a World Heritage Site and is one of the oldest continuously inhabited human settlements in the world. Time for a walk and lunch. In the afternoon we continue through Basilicata and Campania, admiring their beautiful mountain landscapes. NAPLES, arrival in the evening. Free time afterwards.

Dag 9

Free time to have a walk in NAPLES before boarding. Boat trip to the ISLAND OF CAPRI included. You may take a boat to the Blue Grotto or the cable car to Capri city. We will get on board again and continue to SORRENTO, a charming, touristic town at the base of a cliff. Free time to stroll around. We will continue to the Gulf of Salerno. Sojourn in SALERNO.

Dag 10

We will go to POMPEII, where you will have an opportunity to admire the remains of this Roman city which was covered by the ashes from Vesuvius volcano (guided tour and entrance included). After that we will visit NAPLES, one of the most fascinating cities in Italy and one of the oldest and most continuously inhabited in Europe. The old town of Naples is one of the largest in Europe and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Time to walk and have lunch. Continuation to CASSINO, you can visit the immense abbey. One of the toughest battles of World War II took place in this place. We will continue towards ROME. Arrival in the evening.

Dag 11

We include a panoramic tour of the capital of Italy and one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. The Colosseum, the Roman forums, the squares and fountains in the center, the great life of the city. We finish in St. Peter´s of the Vatican, an independent state within the city of Rome and center of the Catholic Church. You can visit the basilica and the museums.In the evening we include a transfer to Trastevere, a lively neighborhood of the city known for its small traditional restaurants.

Dag 12

Free time the whole day to keep exploring the city. Today we suggest you take an optional excursion to Naples, Capri and Pompeii.
