Salvador, situated on the Todos os Santos Bay, is the capital of the state of Bahia, Brazil. Salvador was the first capital of Brazil, and the signs of its significance are evident in the city’s Historic Quarter. Salvador is a bustling, vibrant and stunning colonial town with many attractions and a unique charm. Pelourinho, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is Salvador’s delightful Old Town that provides a peek into Salvador’s early days. In this area you can explore the site of the former slave market and pillory, baroque-style churches and colonial architecture. Also from colonial times is the Lighthouse of Barra, one of about 15 forts scattered around the city. Salvador is Brazil’s colourful and historic centre of Afro-Brazilian culture, African culture is a significant part of this city and is apparent in its food, music and religious traditions. There are numerous terreiros, temples of the widely practiced Candomblé religion of African origin, dotted throughout the city. Most terreiros will allow visitors to attend their ceremonies. The best of Salvador is in its daily life, strolling on the beach, relishing its delicious food, admiring the sunset and enjoying its unique culture. It is situated in the heart of the Amazon rainforest on the north bank of the Rio Negro, just 10 kilometres upstream from the point where Rio Negro meets the Solimoes and forms the Amazon River. Manaus is the gateway to the Amazon. The enormous richness and diversity that can be found within nature in the Amazonas is amazing, and Manaus is where most Amazon tour operators are based. The city has plenty of sights to see and a vast array of grand-looking buildings. The floating dock is worth a visit, as well as the market. The Opera house is impressive, The Amazon Theatre, the National Institute for research in the Amazon and the Ponta Negra are worth a visit and the Museu do Indio has an excellent ethnographic collection. Dominica, officially known as the Commonwealth of Dominica, is an island nation in the West Indies. The capital, Roseau, is situated on the western side of the island. Geographically, it is part of the Leeward Islands chain in the Lesser Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean Sea. The island is located near Guadeloupe to the northwest and Martinique to the south-southeast. Its area is 750 km2 (290 sq mi), and the highest point is Morne Diablotins, at 1,447 m (4,747 ft) in elevation. The population was 71,293 at the 2011 census.
It is said that Columbus passed the island on Sunday 3 November 1493. It was later colonised by Europeans, predominantly by the French from the 1690s to 1763. Great Britain took possession in 1763 after the Seven Years' War, and gradually established English as its official language. The island republic gained independence in 1978.
Its name is pronounced with emphasis on the third syllable, related to its French name of Dominique. Dominica has been nicknamed the "Nature Isle of the Caribbean" for its natural environment. It is the youngest island in the Lesser Antilles, and in fact it is still being formed by geothermal-volcanic activity, as evidenced by the world's second-largest hot spring, called Boiling Lake. The island has lush mountainous rainforests, and it is the home of many rare plants, animals, and bird species. There are xeric areas in some of the western coastal regions, but heavy rainfall occurs inland. The Sisserou parrot, also known as the imperial amazon and found only on Dominica, is the island's national bird and featured on the national flag, which is one of only two national flags containing the colour purple (the other being Nicaragua).

The Bahama Islands are an archipelago made up of roughly 2,000 islands when you take into account the cays, which are wee islands that form on coral reefs. Nassau, located on New Providence, is the capital of the Bahamas and boasts a blend of vibrant Neo-colonial 19th century buildings and modern hotel resorts. Nassau is positioned on the northern tip of New Providence, overlooking the bay between the main island and Paradise Island. The vast majority of the country's population resides in Nassau on New Providence Island and in the Freeport area on Grand Bahama.
Nassau showcases a blend of vibrant Neo-colonial 19th century buildings and modern hotel resorts. The colonial beauty of the Historical Town of Nassau is well worth a visit. The pink Parliament Building, which has a statue of a seated Queen Victoria out front, is the most stunning sight in Nassau. The Pirate Museum is another major attraction in Nassau. The interactive museum tells the story of the history of pirates. The City of Nassau is landscaped in a beautiful tropical setting. The local greenery is purely captivating and the variety of tropical plants they've preserved here certainly add to the charm of the country.
The Bahama Islands draw in tourists with their favourable climate and relaxed lifestyle, their stunning and vibrant nature, their crystal blue waters and their friendly locals.
