Auckland is the biggest metropolitan area in both Polynesia and New Zealand and a lively city with multicultural influence. It's situated between two natural harbours, the Waitemata Harbour and the Manukau Harbour and it's often referred to as the City of Sails, as it has the highest number of boats per head of population in the world.
In the city centre, there's a good few galleries, museums, theatres, trendy bars, and top class restaurants which offer a wide range of food. The Skytower dominates the city’s skyline and offers a cracking view of the city. Queen Street, the commercial hub area, starts at Waitemata Harbour and runs for nearly three kilometres in a straight line. From the city centre you can walk to the Auckland Domain and the Museum, Albert Park, Parnell, a lovely historic area, and up to Newmarket with its many shops. From there it's not far to Mt. Eden and its impressive crater, and to Cornwall Park which is at the foot of the famous One Tree Hill. One Tree Hill, an extinct volcano cone and ancient Maori settlement offers great panoramic views of this sprawling city.
Cosmopolitan and charming, Auckland is easy to get to, beautiful, and with plenty to do. It's definitely New Zealand's most lively city.

benoa - bali - indonesia
Arrival: 11:30
-
Departure: 21:00
The southern part of Bali, although generally chaotic and overly touristy, boasts the best beaches on the island and several interesting sightseeing tours, so if you travel to this destination, I recommend you spend at least three full days there. If Bali is too crowded, the area of Kuta and its surroundings takes the biscuit: it was here where the first travellers arrived in search of surf and they also found a paradise to export. But despite the noise and the fact that Balinese culture is not as prevalent as in other areas, Kuta and its surroundings can also be enjoyed.
Legian street is lovely, ideal for buying souvenirs or a dress while haggling with the locals; The beach is perfect for surfing and the best place to watch it, as it's full of surfers at all hours!; And the sunset is an event that you can't miss. The locals flock to the beach in droves, many of whom want to take photos with you, play football or simply swim; And spontaneous bars are set up with fresh beers and crates as local bars. There are beautiful sunsets that are harmless. Of course, the local lifestyle is shorter than in other parts of the island, or at least not so integrated, so don't expect to find a nice market or a temple on every corner.

Tá an chathair suite go geografach ag imeall theas Atoll Thuaidh Malé (Atoll Kaafu). Riarachánach, tá an chathair comhdhéanta as oileán lárnach, oileán aerfoirt, agus dhá oileán eile atá faoi rialú ag Comhairle Cathrach Malé.
Go traidisiúnta, ba é Oileán an Rí é, as ar rialaigh na seandínastachtaí ríoga agus as ar bhí an phálás. Ansin tugadh Mahal ar an gcathair. Roimhe sin, ba chathair fhaillíodh í a bhí timpeallaithe ag daingniúcháin agus geataí (doroshi). Scriosadh an Pálás Ríoga (Gan'duvaru) mar aon leis na daingniúcháin áille (kotte) agus na bastúnna (buruzu) nuair a rinneadh athmhúnlaigh ar an gcathair faoi riail Uachtarán Ibrahim Nasir i ndiaidh dhíghabhála na monarchaíochta in 1968. Mar sin féin, tá Mosc Dé hAoine Malé fós ann. Le blianta beaga anuas, tá an t-oileán méadaithe go mór trí oibríochtaí líonadh talún. Thar na blianta, bhí Malé mar lárionad d'agóidí polaitiúla agus d'imeachtaí míleamhair.

Day 106-107
seychelles (mahe)
Arrival: 18:00
-
Departure: 16:00
Lying in the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles archipelago has transitioned over four centuries from a pirate haven to a dream destination for millions of travellers. Its 115 islands - with only thirty inhabited - have everything to love: year-round sun, a tropical climate, coral beaches, endemic flora and a rich marine life. The essential route through this paradise visits Mahé, Praslin and La Digue, the islands that offer more services and a greater diversity of attractions.
The first stop on the journey is the island of Mahé, the largest and only island in the Seychelles. Just eleven kilometres from Victoria, the capital, which provides the first interaction with the islanders, friendly folk with features that show a mix of African, Chinese, Indian and European origins. This ethnic diversity has left a legacy of a culinary, musical, architectural and artistic culture full of nuances and rich with pirate legends. Any local will tell tourists about the exploits of John Taylor, Jean François Hodoul - the Château Mamelles, from 1804, was one of his two residences in Mahé - and other buccaneers who hid treasures of jewels and gold coins somewhere in the archipelago. The last known treasure is still found near the beach of Bel Ombre in Mahé.
Several bus lines traverse the island taking the small Victoria station as a starting and ending point. Travelling on these basic vehicles is a great opportunity to share a seat with people heading to and from the Victoria market, local workers and students returning home at the end of the day. A few kilometres of travel by bus and the traveller has already learned that it's essential to shout "devant!" so that the driver stops.

Lisbon is known as the city of seven hills due to its location, the city spreads across steep hillsides that overlook the River Tagus. Romantic and cosmopolitan, the city presents its typical red roofs to the visitors that want to get to know its every inch. Lisbon surprises with its natural beauty and relaxed atmosphere. The Portuguese capital offers lots of museums, libraries, a massive port, churches and palaces and stunning views of the River Tagus. Lisbon was once considered a poor and chaotic city. Currently it has experienced a resurgence in the style of the 14th and 15th centuries, when it was part of that vast empire stretching from Brazil to India. The reason for this was the World Expo held in 1998, a new bridge over the Tagus was built and the city's underground network was remodelled. The resurgence of the city then continued to host several matches during Euro 2004, also held there the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2005. Many of its most beautiful buildings date from the 14th and 15th centuries, especially the ones located in the Belem district. There are also many buildings from the 18th century, which are located mostly in the Baixa area of central Lisbon and were reconstructed almost completely after a devastating earthquake that hit the town in 1755. The historic centre of the city, standing on The Seven Hills, presents steep streets and picturesque alleys. On the west side of the city, there is Monsanto Forest Park, Lisbon’s lung, with an area of 10 km and one of the largest in Europe. The capital’s majestic port has 3 docks commonly used for several cruises and it is, currently, the busiest port on the European Atlantic coast. Lisbon is a city with centuries of history and with an ambitious attitude, marrying the historic with the modern, the traditional with the cutting edge. Strolling through the old quarters one can hear the traditional Fado sung and played in small restaurants in town. In the hilltop district of Bairro Alto, dozens of restaurants and bars line the narrow streets, with jazz, reggae, electronica filling the air and revellers partying until dawn. Nightclubs scattered all over town make fine use of old spaces, whether on riverside docks or tucked away in 18th-century mansions. Lisbon presents itself to the world as a cosmopolitan and lively city, with alternatives for every taste, especially in the summer months when its many bars, terraces and restaurants are crammed with people.
