From Berlin to Vienna and Danube Capitals - Splendor (2025)

Jour 1

Welcome to your tour with Europamundo! We’ll transfer you to the hotel and you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll find information about the start of your tour on the boards located at the hotel reception.

Jour 2

Immerse yourself in the local culture with a tour of Berlin, the incredible capital of Germany, accompanied by a local guide. From our coach, you´ll have the chance to see the Museum Island, the Television Tower, the city center’s main shopping streets, the old cathedral destroyed during World War II, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, and the city’s expansive parks. We’ll stop to visit the Holocaust Memorial and the Berlin Wall Memorial Museum—two powerful landmarks that remind us of Germany’s challenging history in the previous century. You’ll have the afternoon free to explore the city at your own pace. In the early evening, we’ll provide a transfer to the lively Kantstrasse area.

Jour 3

We’ll journey through forests towards Dresden, a city renowned for its exceptional architectural and artistic heritage, making it one of Germany’s top tourist destinations. You’ll have time to explore some of the impressive palaces and enjoy lunch at one of its many restaurants and coffee shops. Later, we’ll depart for the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague. We’ll head to the Old Town Square, a vibrant area full of energy and tourist activities, ideal for your first experience of Prague. Dine at one of the numerous restaurants offering a variety of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. Afterwards, we’ll return to the hotel.

Jour 4

Today, we’ll visit the capital, Prague, the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local tour guide will lead an informative panoramic tour, highlighting the city’s most outstanding monuments. During the tour, there will be a visit to Prague Castle (admission included). After that, enjoy a boat ride on the Vltava River (included). In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore the city on your own.

Jour 5

We´ll depart early and head to Bavaria, Germany. We’ll arrive in Munich by midday, where you´ll have free time to stroll through the historic city center and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll continue to Austria. Upon arrival in the heart of the Alps, you´ll have time to explore Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. There will be time for dinner in the Golden Roof area and Old Town.

Jour 6

Today, we’ll visit the Swarovski Museum (admission included), the renowned home of crystals. We’ll explore its impressive gardens and learn how these exquisite crystal pieces are made. Next, you’ll have free time to stroll through the historic center of Innsbruck. Our journey will continue along scenic mountain roads until we reach Kitzbühel, a Tyrolean town famous for its ski resort where you can enjoy snow nearly year-round. This town hosts the legendary Hahnenkamm Race, one of the most prestigious and thrilling alpine skiing events in the world. We´ll reach Salzburg by the end of the day.

Jour 7

Today, we’ll get to know Austria better. During the morning, we´ll explore Salzburg, Mozart’s city. Its Renaissance and Baroque center is filled with beauty, all in the shadow of the grand castle. Next, we’ll travel through lakes and mountains to reach St. Wolfgang, a renowned pilgrimage site in Austria. We’ll then head to Traunkirchen, located beside the beautiful Traunsee Lake, where we’ll take an included cruise to see four of the lake´s castles before disembarking in Gmunden. Afterward, we’ll continue to Vienna, arriving in the evening.

Jour 8

Embarkation & dinner on board: After breakfast, we’ll embark on the MS Splendor in Vienna to begin our cruise. Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m.; however, if you arrive earlier, you can leave your luggage at reception and explore the city at your leisure. A welcome reception and dinner will be included. We’ll spend the night in Vienna.

Jour 9

Cruise Full board includedAfter breakfast, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour of Vienna, exploring its most iconic landmarks: the Ringstrasse, the Vienna State Opera (the most famous in the world), the Museum of Fine Arts, the Museum of Natural History, the Hofburg Palace (the imperial winter residence), the Austrian Parliament, Vienna City Hall, the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK), the Votive Church, and the National Theater, among others. After the tour, you’ll have free time before returning to the ship for lunch.In the afternoon, you can enjoy more free time or take an optional visit to the Hofburg Palace, a walk to the Opera House, or attend a classical concert. We’ll depart the city at midnight and sail overnight to our next destination.

Jour 10

Cruise Full board includedWe’ll spend a wonderful day exploring the charming Wachau Valley along the Danube River. In the morning, we’ll visit Melk, where you’ll have time to stroll through its streets and enjoy free time to explore its impressive Abbey. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the picturesque and historic village of Dürnstein. These two towns mark the ends of the famous and scenic Wachau Valley, which we’ll experience in the best possible way as we sail between them aboard our ship. We will sail overnight to our next destination.

Jour 11

Cruise Full board includedIn the morning, we’ll sail through one of the most stunning stretches of the river, known as the Danube Bend. After lunch, we’ll visit Esztergom, the birthplace of Hungary’s first king, Stephen I. Here, we’ll marvel at the grandeur of its basilica, a site of great historical importance. Following the visit, you’ll have free time to explore. During dinner, we’ll resume our journey, arriving in Budapest at midnight, where we´ll spend the night.

Jour 12

Cruise Full board includedWe’ll wake up in Budapest, the capital of Hungary and one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a panoramic tour covering both banks of the city—Buda and Pest. Highlights include the Fisherman’s Bastion, the Synagogue, and St. Stephen’s Basilica. The afternoon will be free, or you may choose optional activities. We’ll spend the night in Budapest.

Jour 13

CruiseFull board includedYou’ll have the morning free to continue enjoying this marvelous city or join optional activities. At midday, we’ll depart from Budapest and set sail for our next destination in Slovakia, traveling overnight.

Jour 14

Cruise Full board included We’ll arrive in Bratislava early in the morning. After breakfast, we’ll enjoy an included walking tour of the Slovakian capital, exploring its historic center and key landmarks such as the Old Town Hall, Hlavné Námestie Square, the Ganymede Fountain, the Slovak National Theater, and St. Martin’s Cathedral. The afternoon will be free to discover the city at your leisure. We’ll sail through the night.

Jour 15

Breakfast & disembarkation:After breakfast, we’ll disembark in Vienna. At 09:00 a.m., cabins must be vacated; however, you may leave your luggage on board and stay in the common areas or head out to explore the city. Our services will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: - The cruise is subject to river water levels; in the event of rising or falling water levels or any other force majeure event, the captain may be required to modify the program for safety reasons.
