Norway: An Unforgettable Immersive Journey

• Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our accompanying guide who will accompany you throughout the days of this adventure. We will pick up the rental car and drive through winter landscapes that transform into a white canvas as we move away from the hustle and bustle of the city and head towards the tranquility of Kvaløya Island. • Transfer to Kvaløya Island: On the way to the island, the scenery of snow-capped mountains and peaceful fjords will leave us speechless. In the distance, we will see small fishing villages that will invite us to immerse ourselves in Norwegian life, while our excitement grows as we get closer to our destination.
• Accommodation: We will arrive at a typical "rorbuer", a cozy Norwegian beachfront Villa fully equipped with barbecue and spa. You will spend the night surrounded by snow-capped mountains, watching the frozen sea from the window and with a little luck, you will be able to witness a first Northern Lights. This will be the perfect place to disconnect and get in touch with nature in its purest state.
• Shop at a local supermarket: Our house is on a totally unspoilt island with very little population in the most unspoilt and wild places you can imagine, so there are no supermarkets or restaurants nearby. So before leaving civilization, we will stop at a supermarket to buy groceries for the next 2 days.

• Local breakfast: We will start the day enjoying a traditional breakfast that we prepare with local ingredients, in our cozy home. The local flavors and the feeling of being in such a remote place will envelop us in the authenticity of the trip.
• Exploration by car: We will drive around Kvaløya Island, each bend in the road will reveal a new breathtaking view. We will stop at the Ersfjord, a fjord whose natural beauty will take our breath away, or at Grøtfjord, known for its tranquil fjord and the mountains that are reflected in its crystal clear waters. We will make frequent stops to take photos and enjoy the absolute silence.
• Immersive picnic: In a special corner of the island, we will stop to enjoy a picnic in the middle of nature, with local products that we will have previously bought. This will allow us not only to experience the flavors, but also to live the local life, in a context as pure as the landscape that surrounds us.
• Sauna and BBQ hut: We will return to our house to relax like true Norwegians. We will enjoy a traditional sauna, an essential experience in the Arctic, perfect for disconnecting. If the day allows it, we can have a barbecue in the wooden cabin and share unique moments while the cold outside becomes the perfect setting for our experience.
• Relaxation and rest: We will conclude the day by observing how the sky begins to be tinged with violet and pink tones. The tranquility of the place, the sound of the snow under our feet, and the constant presence of the mountains and the sea will create a magical and unrepeatable atmosphere.

• Norwegian breakfast: We will enjoy a leisurely breakfast before returning to Tromsø, a vibrant city full of history.
• Route to Tromsø: Back on the road, we will make stops in Sommarøy, an island with white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, which in winter transforms into a dazzling landscape where the contrast of the snow-capped mountains with the sea will leave us speechless. It will be the perfect place for a photo stop, while the emotions of the trip build up in our hearts. Keep in mind that the order of this and the previous day may change depending on where we will have the best weather since in Norway who rules is the weather to which we will adapt and adjust the plan when necessary, to make every minute of the experience unique.
• Return of the car: Upon arrival in Tromsø, we will return the car and transfer to our accommodation to rest after this day full of nature and adventures, we propose hotel Skaret by Vander**** or similar also optional Magnificent house for full use both in the same center of the city.
• Free evening we will walk through Tromso and visit, for example, its famous Arctic Cathedral with its huge stained glass windows that occupy its entire façade and which is really spectacular, especially at night.

• Sled tour: After a delicious breakfast, we will embark on a unique excursion: a sled ride pulled by huskies through snowy landscapes. The thrill of feeling the cold wind on our faces as the dogs guide our sled through snow-covered forests is indescribable. We will feel the adrenaline and freedom of touring this winter place, accompanied by the warmth of the local guides. The excursion departs from Tromso, to reach the husky camp they provide us with a minibus to go and return (journey time of 1:30 h approx.)
• Cultural immersion: Along the way, we will learn about Sami culture and the history of husky dogs, who have been inseparable companions of Arctic inhabitants for centuries. The tour includes a stop to enjoy a hot lunch at a refuge in the middle of nature.
• Free afternoon: After the activity, we will return to Tromsø, where we will have the afternoon free to explore the city at our own pace. We can choose to relax in a local café or discover some of Tromsø's charms, such as the Tromsø Dome Church.
• Typical dinner: The day will culminate with dinner at a local restaurant, where we will taste traditional dishes such as Maple, which captures the authentic taste of Northern Norway. Direct payment at the restaurant.

• Boat Safari: After breakfast we will embark on an 8-9 hour safari to see the majestic humpback whales and orcas up close. We will sail through the fjords near Tromsø, in search of these marine giants that inhabit the waters of the Arctic. The thrill of seeing a whale jump near our boat is something that will stay with us forever.

• Lunch at sea: While sailing, we will enjoy a picnic on board, which we must prepare beforehand since the activity only includes a hot drink and a snack on board the boat, surrounded by the magnificence of the Arctic Ocean and the sea creatures that inhabit it.

• Return and dinner: At the end of the safari, we will return to Tromsø, where we can enjoy a warm dinner in a restaurant.

• Snowmobile Tour: Today after breakfast, the adventure intensifies with a snowmobile tour through the stunning Lyngen Alps. For 7-8 hours, we will travel through quiet valleys and snow-capped mountains, in one of the most spectacular landscapes on the planet. The excursion departs from Tromso, to get to the base camp they provide us with a minibus + ferry to go and return (journey time of 2 h approx.)

• Expert guide: The expert guides will teach us how to handle the snowmobile safely while taking us to the best viewpoints of this area of incomparable beauty. The views of the mountains and fjords of Lyngen will leave us speechless.

• Lunch in the middle of nature: During the excursion, we will enjoy our PIC NIC, here they do include food, they call it "expedition hot food" surrounded by a landscape so epic that it will look like a scene taken from a movie.

• Flight to Oslo: Early in the morning, we will take the flight to Oslo, the vibrant Norwegian capital and transfer to our accommodation Anker Hotel**** in the very center of the city

• Train from the Airport to the city: Duration approx. 35 min.

• Return to the hotel.

• City tour: After breakfast, during the day, we will visit the most emblematic places of Oslo.

We will start our day at Oslo Central Station, the perfect point to start our adventure. Our first stop will be the stunning Oslo Opera House, where we will climb to the roof to enjoy panoramic views of the fjord and the city. We will take a moment to admire its unique design and take some memorable photos.

We will then head to the historic Akershus Fortress, a place steeped in history and surrounded by spectacular views of the fjord. We will explore its grounds while learning about its past as a medieval fortification and its relevance to the city.

Our next stop will be Oslo City Hall, known for its unique architecture and for being the place where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded. If it is open, we will take the opportunity to visit its interior and admire the murals that decorate its main rooms.

We will continue to the National Gallery, where, if it is Thursday, we can enjoy free admission to contemplate masterpieces such as "The Scream" by Edvard Munch. This will be the ideal time to immerse ourselves in Norwegian art and culture.

Our route will take us to the Royal Palace, surrounded by the tranquil Slottsparken Park. We will walk through the gardens and, if we coincide with the schedule, witnessing the changing of the guard will be an interesting spectacle.

Then we will visit the Frognerparken and its iconic Vigeland Sculpture Park, an open-air museum with more than 200 sculptures depicting universal themes such as life and human relationships. This will be a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed and artistic atmosphere.

We will head to the Aker Brygge neighborhood, a perfect place to take a break and enjoy a meal while appreciating the views of the fjord and the lively atmosphere of this coastal area.

Finally, we will return to the Oslo Opera House to watch the sunset from its roof, closing our day in Oslo with an unforgettable view. It will be a day full of culture, history, landscapes and delicious food!
