From downtown Medellín, walk to the famous Plaza Botero, where an exhibition by Colombian artist Fernando Botero is held. His sculptures are now a symbol of the city. Take the metrocable to the Santo Domingo district, one of the areas most affected by violence and paramilitarism in Medellín. The metrocable was built to make the center accessible to people living on the outskirts of Medellín. This is a short walk, with time to visit various souvenir shops. Return to the hotel.
