Port Andratx Spain

Port de Andratx is one of the finest and most spectacular natural harbours on the island. It is surrounded by beautiful coves with crystal-clear waters such as "Cala Llamp", "Cala Moragues", and "Cala d’Egos". This modern town of Port d’Andratx, with around 3,300 residents, was originally an ancient fishermen's refuge. It has now become one of the most important and visited tourist centres in Mallorca, thanks to its sailing activities, which promote a more exclusive residential tourism. Port de Andratx is a lively and cosmopolitan spot where different cultures blend due to the combination of sun, shopping, and nightlife. It also offers plenty of sea-related activities. It boasts one of the best sports harbours in the Balearic Islands, the Andratx Sailing Club, with 500 berths for sports and leisure boats. The heart of Port de Andratx is the seafront promenade, where the harbour and the fish market, "La Lonja", are located, witnessing the current fishing activity and where fresh fish can be bought in the afternoon. Shops and restaurants with pleasant terraces face the seaside. You can also find the lighthouse and the Sailing Club, passing by the small stream of "Es Saluet". Port de Andratx has a variety of heritage elements of great historical and architectural interest. On one side, there are the watchtowers that can be found in "La Mola" or the tower on Rodríguez Acosta Street, which is now a private house. On the other side, the religious architecture is well represented by the church of "Nuestra Señora del Carmen". Port de Andratx has an exclusive hotel infrastructure and some of the finest and most important restaurants on the island. At night, it becomes one of the liveliest areas in the region. From Port d’Andratx, you can reach "La Mola", where you can enjoy a magnificent sunset with Dragonera Island on the horizon.
