About the destination: New York City is an international metropolis built on the shoulders of immigrants and their descendants. New York City is home to eight million people, and the city welcomes more than 50 million visitors each year. Your tour of New York City should include sampling the food from hundreds of different cultures, and you can explore it easily on foot, by taxi, or via the famous subway system. A gift from the French people to the American people, the Statue of Liberty is a universal symbol of freedom and the city’s most famous landmark. Wall Street acts as the heart of big business being the home of the New York Stock Exchange. The Empire State Building towers over the Big Apple as the second-tallest building in the city, with the nearby Chrysler Building also dominating the skyline. Nearby is the headquarters of the United Nations overlooking the East River and Grand Central Terminal, one of the busiest train stations in the world. No sightseeing in New York is complete without a visit to Times Square. Take in its billboards, its many people, and its food, then cross over to Central Park, which comprises 850 acres of lakes and meadows, where you can escape from the city buzz. You also have your choice of art and history museums, as well as the Reflecting Absence Memorial and Museum, where you can pay your respects to the victims of 9/11. 2. Washington DC
Stay
About the destination: Washington, D.C., officially known as the District of Columbia and often referred to as Washington, "the District", or simply D.C., is the capital of the United States. Situated along the Potomac River on the country's East Coast, the District is under the sole jurisdiction of the United States Congress and is therefore not part of any U.S. state. The White House, symbolically the country's most significant building, has been the residence and workplace of US Presidents for over 200 years. The Washington Monument, dedicated to the first US President George Washington, dominates the Washington DC skyline. The Capitol, a globally recognised neoclassical landmark, is where the US Senate and House of Representatives convene. The National Cathedral is the most famous US cathedral and has been the location for many national memorial services. The Supreme Court, one of the country's most important institutions, offers tours to learn about its history and operations. The Lincoln Memorial, dedicated to Abraham Lincoln, was completed in 1922 and is modelled after Greek temples. The magnificent Library of Congress, the world's largest library, houses approximately 90 million archive materials. The Jefferson Memorial, modelled after Rome's Pantheon, is dedicated to Thomas Jefferson, the third US President and one of the Founding Fathers. D.C. has shed its former reputation as a dull and dangerous city and now boasts shopping, dining, and nightlife befitting a world-class metropolis. Visitors will find the city new, exciting, and decidedly cosmopolitan and international.

3. Philadelphia PA
Stop
About the destination: Philadelphia is the biggest city in the state of Pennsylvania, the second biggest city on the East Coast of the United States, and the fifth most populous city in the United States. It's situated in the North-eastern United States along the Delaware and Schuylkill rivers, and it's the only consolidated city-county in Pennsylvania. At Franklin Court, we come across the Christ Church Burial Ground, another well-known landmark, where Ben Franklin and four other signers of the Declaration of Independence were laid to rest. The Congress Hall was the residence of the first Congress. In addition to this, George Washington and John Adams were inaugurated here, and the Bill of Rights was ratified right inside. Philadelphia's most famous attraction, the Liberty Bell was rung to mark the hearing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. The Bell weighs 2,000 pounds, which might not be obvious just by looking at it. Philadelphia is a fantastic city to visit. It's welcoming and steeped in history and has a great blend of old and new and of historic and modern. There are plenty of sites, restaurants, clubs, and museums to keep you occupied, along with several open space parks scattered throughout the centre and, of course, the rivers, which contribute to the tranquillity of this lively city.
