About the destination: Aruba is an island in the Caribbean, 15 miles north of the coast of Venezuela, and is one of the four countries that together form the Kingdom of the Netherlands. This flat island with no rivers is renowned for its white sand beaches and tropical climate moderated by constant trade winds from the Atlantic Ocean. Like any Caribbean destination, its beaches do not disappoint, they are wonderfully pretty with silver sand, warm shallow turquoise waters and an abundance of interesting birds and fauna. Oranjestad is the bustling capital of Aruba. Oranjestad has become a destination within the destination Aruba, and is one of the Caribbean's most photogenic cities. The city is also quite lively at night, so much so that the city has been voted, on several occasions, as the Caribbean's best small town nightlife city.
