The next hill, just across the Phra Tam Nak Road, has the best Pattaya Bay coastline viewpoint and is also worth a visit, especially for sunset. • Chaloemphrakiat Park. A park at the foot of Khao Pattaya. With an area of 6 acres, the park was dedicated to commemorate His Majesty the King's sixtieth birthday on December 5, 1988. The gardens of the park boast a wide variety of flowering plants and offer a scenic view of Pattaya. • Anek Kuson Sala is an art gallery with high-class Chinese architecture and fine arts constructed in 1987 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Birthday. Inside is an exhibition displaying precious antiques such as the large white jade Bodhisattva Kwan Yin's image, terra-cotta soldiers and horses from the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, an emperor’s golden throne, ancient paintings and pottery. • Silverlake Winery Pattaya. Silverlake has become popular due to its spectacular natural views. Visitors can relax amidst the colourful flowers, and there are activities that attract visitors such as riding an ATV, horse-drawn carriage, elephant, bicycle and touring the yard by bus. "

Ban Phe has a playschool, 3 primary schools and a secondary school. The city councillor is Mr. Phairat Arunwetsaset. The people here mainly make their living from fishing, trading and working in one of the eight fish processing factories. Tourism has become increasingly important over the past few years and more and more foreigners are settling here. Ban Phe is the main starting point for trips to Ko Samet Island. Dried fish, dried crabs and the crab paste and fish sauce that are especially popular here are sold along the waterfront. Ban Phe Beach is 8 kilometers long. The nearby Park Suan Son is a popular spot for picnics in shady corners. The Rayong Aquarium is located on the outskirts of Ban Phe.
