About the destination: Of all the European capitals, London resonates most profoundly in the minds of travellers. We soak up London before we even realise it exists and when we finally approach the city, it doesn't let us down. There are the red double-deckers, the bobbies and stoic guards at Buckingham, Westminster Abbey, and the chimes of Big Ben, sounding familiar, as we've heard them before. The market in Stone Town, the captivating capital, is one of the largest, most lively open-air markets anywhere. It doesn’t get any better than Zanzibar. About the destination: Michamvi Kae is an idyllic, powder-white sandy beach surrounded by palm trees, where you can see amazing sunsets away from the crowds. There is a beautiful mangrove with a small island where the seabirds thrive. This is still a very quiet place where the people make their living from fishing and seaweed farming. Here you can walk for kilometers on the beach without meeting anybody.

Dar es Salaam has evolved into one of East Africa's most significant ports and trading hubs. Dar is brimming with charm and boasts a fantastic atmosphere. It's definitely worth extending your stay beyond the time between flights. Strolling around the city centre is a brilliant way to immerse yourself in the culture and Kariakoo market can be a fascinating spot for those with a sense of adventure. It can also serve as a good base for visiting nearby attractions such as Bagamoyo, Bongoyo and Mbudja Islands, as well as for learning to scuba dive or going deep sea fishing.

This name is what the Masai used to call this place, the Serengeti, which translates to "endless plains". This vast plain is filled with kilometres of grassland and open forest. A particularly iconic feature of this nature reserve is the migration of wildebeest, gazelles and zebras, one of the most awe-inspiring natural spectacles you can witness today and a major draw for tourists. The Serengeti National Park was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981. There are many fascinating places to visit, such as Seronera (the central zone), a small area that is home to a wide variety of animal species. In addition to all this, there are plenty of activities to enjoy, such as a balloon safari over the reserve, visiting a hippo pond, climbing "Naabi Hill" and taking in the views.
