• Arahurahu Marae.
• Museums. Visit the Museum of Tahiti and the Islands which boasts a rich collection of ancient artifacts and reconstructed historical scenes. The Black Pearl Museum and the Gauguin Museum are also worth a visit if you're looking to escape the heat.
