Siem Reap Cambodia

Siem Reap is the capital city of the Siem Reap Province in the northwestern part of Cambodia. It's a well-liked resort town and serves as an entry point to the Angkor region. Siem Reap boasts colonial and Chinese-style architecture in the Old French Quarter, and around the Old Market. The city is home to museums, traditional Apsara dance performances, a Cambodian cultural village, souvenir and handicraft shops, silk farms, countryside rice-paddies, fishing villages, and a bird sanctuary near the Tonle Sap Lake. Today, Siem Reap is a popular tourist destination and has a large number of hotels, resorts, restaurants, and businesses that cater to tourism. This is largely due to its close proximity to the Angkor temples, which are the most popular tourist attractions in Cambodia.
