Biograd Croatia

Biograd na Moru is a city and municipality in northern Dalmatia, Croatia, notable for being the former capital of the medieval Croatian Kingdom. As of 2011, its population is 5,569. Biograd is part of Zadar County and is situated on the Adriatic Sea coast, overlooking the island of Pašman, along the road from Zadar and Sukošan towards Vodice and Šibenik. Biograd is a tourist destination: the first tourists began arriving in the 1920s from Czechoslovakia, and its first hotel was constructed in 1935.
