The city is renowned throughout Latin America for hosting Colombia's largest festival, the Feria de Cali. Cali is one of the primary economic and industrial hubs of the country. It boasts a well-preserved historical center. Plaza de Caycedo is centrally located and is surrounded by both historic and modern buildings, and is in close proximity to numerous historic churches. The city is abundant in parks, squares, and museums. The old, bohemian neighborhood of San Antonio is a charming area with trendy cafes, shops, and restaurants lining the picturesque colonial streets.
