About the destination: Cancun is a city located on the southeast coast of the Yucatán Peninsula in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo. It is a major world-renowned tourist destination, as well as being the seat of the municipality of Benito Juárez. The city is located on the Caribbean Sea, and is one of the easternmost points in Mexico. Cancún is located just north of Mexico's Caribbean coast resort band known as the Riviera Maya. Cancun, located in the Yucatan region of Mexico, has many great attractions. Start with the white sand beaches of Cancun City. In the jungles of Yucatan lies one of the largest and best preserved archaeological sites in Mexico, Chichen Itza. The world famous Mayan ruins with thousands of years of history are one of the most visited sites in the world. Cancun is surrounded by spectacular scenery. Isla Mujeres, a small gorgeous island close to Cancun, is simply spectacular. The magical underwater natural pools known as Cenotes are a big draw around the Cancun area. Many have rocky edge formations above them. Outside of Cancun we find Tulum, a unique site where you can go for a swim in turquoise waters and visit the famous ruins of Mayan civilizationCancun has lots to offer. With its mix of tropical beaches, ancient ruins and modern resorts, this area is simply the perfect vacation destination for everyone. Modern Cancun offers wonderful white sand beaches and turquoise sea, great restaurants, lively clubs and activities of every type imaginable.

About the destination: Isla Mujeres is situated in the Caribbean Sea, close to the Yucatan peninsula, southeast of Mexico. The island is one of the ten municipalities of the State of Quintana Roo and is located thirteen kilometers from the city of Cancun, the region's primary tourist hub. Isla Mujeres is a quaint and charming island, positioned across the bay from Cancun. Its warm and clear waters are the perfect habitat for dolphins and turtles, and swimming with them is one of the most appealing activities. This is a place with history and stunning beaches. At the southern tip of the island, there are remnants of a Mayan temple. The island gained worldwide fame in the 70s when the Cave of the Sleeping Sharks was introduced to the world by renowned Mexican oceanographer Ramón Bravo. The island is also recognized for its beautiful underwater landscapes, excellent snorkeling and diving sites, and the rich biodiversity it offers. Another intriguing attraction of the island is the park and beach club "El Garrafon" where you can snorkel, snuba, sea trek, kayak among others. Further into this park, there is a small area dedicated to Ixchel Arquelogica.

About the destination: Holbox ("black hole" in Yucatec Maya) is an island in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, located on the north coast of the Yucatán Peninsula. It is approximately 41.84 kilometres (26.00 miles) long and 1.5 kilometres (0.9 miles) wide, and it is separated from the mainland by 10 km of shallow lagoon that is home to flamingos, pelicans and other rich birdlife. Holbox Island is part of the Municipality of Lázaro Cárdenas and also part of the Yum-Balam Biosphere Reserve. Not yet heavily touristed, the island's main industry is fishing. However, the island is developing a growing tourist industry in the form of whale shark viewing. Lobster is the main product of this fishing, and many of the dishes made on the island center around lobster or other seafood.
