About the hotel

Gambrinus Hotel is set in a quiet, residential area near Porta Pia, just 15 minutes' walk from the Spanish Steps and Via Veneto. The charming and elegant rooms offer free Wi-Fi. The service is personalised. The rooms are furnished in four different styles, and in four dominant colours: red, beige, green and yellow. Each offers a satellite LCD TV with pay-per-view channels, and a kettle with a selection of tea and coffee. The room was adequate and clean, although a bit dark, but that was not my priority, as this was my emergency accommodation. The staff were excellent and have put me at ease after a hell of a day. I felt well looked after. The location was excellent.

Out of the way, not close to main sights. A/C didn’t work right and had to have a luke warm shower as water was not hot.
