Pattaya is a city in Thailand, a beach resort that is a favorite among tourists and expatriates. It is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Pattaya City is a self-governing municipal area that encompasses the entire tambon Nong Prue and Na Kluea and parts of Huai Yai and Nong Pla Lai. The city is situated in the heavily industrial Eastern Seaboard zone. Pattaya is the hub of the Pattaya-Chonburi Metropolitan Area. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS • Beaches. There are several beaches such as Jomtien Beach which is more peaceful and tranquil, a haven for water sports enthusiasts and is also known for its amusement park and tower, to keep children entertained; The Pattaya Beach; Wong Amat Beach, which is accessed from Naklua; and beyond the southern end, around the Buddha Hill headland that separates Pattaya Bay from Jomtien, are several more smaller beaches; Wong Phra Chan Beach is a small peaceful one-kilometer beach is on the northern side of Pattaya Bay. The serene atmosphere here is attractive to those longing for a complete rest and privacy. • Buddha Hill is one of the highest points in Pattaya. At the summit is the largest Buddha statue in Pattaya, and nearby is a beautiful Chinese-style sacred area dedicated to Confucius and Lao-zi. The next hill, just across the Phra Tam Nak Road, has the best Pattaya Bay coastline viewpoint and is also worth a visit, especially for sunset. • Chaloemphrakiat Park. A park at the base of Khao Pattaya. Spanning an area of 6 acres, the park was dedicated to commemorate His Majesty the King's sixtieth birthday on December 5, 1988. The gardens of the park boast a wide variety of flowering plants and offer a scenic view of Pattaya. • Anek Kuson Sala is an art gallery with high-class Chinese architecture and fine arts constructed in 1987 to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Birthday. Inside is an exhibition displaying precious antiques such as the large white jade Bodhisattva Kwan Yin's image, terra-cotta soldiers and horses from the tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, an emperor’s golden throne, ancient paintings, and pottery. • Silverlake Winery Pattaya. Silverlake has become popular due to its stunning natural views. Visitors can relax amidst colorful flowers, and the activities that attract visitors include riding an ATV, horse-drawn carriage, Elephant, bicycle and touring the yard by a round trip by bus.

Ho Chi Minh City, previously known as Saigon, is the biggest city in Vietnam. It's a contemporary, vibrant, and bustling city. It's economically dynamic, teeming with lively markets, and is undeniably the country's commercial hub. Despite being the most modern city in the country, it maintains a distinct Vietnamese essence and remnants of its illustrious Colonial past as the former "pearl of the orient" are still visible. In the heart of the city, which locals still fondly call Saigon, you'll find some of the city's main attractions such as the Opera house, railway station, Notre Dame cathedral, Reunification Palace, the Saigon river, and the Markets. If you need a break from the city, you can take a tour to the Mekong Delta or to Da Lat, if you have more time. Da Lat, situated in the highlands about 300km from the city, is worth the journey as there's plenty to see and do including waterfalls, gardens, the old French Quarter, and local restaurants serving fantastic local cuisine. Vietnam's commercial and financial center is an exhilarating and fascinating sprawling metropolis that strives to preserve the lifestyle and culture of this magnificent country.

Da Nang is one of the primary port cities in Vietnam and the largest city on the South Central Coast of Vietnam; the city is located on the coast of the Eastern Sea, at the mouth of the Hàn River. Da Nang serves as the commercial and educational hub of Central Vietnam, with a well-protected, easily accessible port; its position on National Route 1A and the North–South Railway makes it a central point for transportation and it is the third largest economic center in Vietnam. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS • Cham Museum. Established in 1915 by the French School of the Far East, it showcases a collection of stone sculptures from the Hindu-practicing Cham civilization, which inhabited much of central Vietnam from the first millennium AD until about the 14th century. • Marble Mountains. • Ba Na Hill Station. Ba Na was once a 1920's French resort that boasted 200 villas, restaurants, and clubs. Its mild climate, pristine forest, and breathtaking views of the South China Sea and the Lao mountain range made Ba Na a favored retreat for both the French and the affluent Vietnamese. • Cham Island • Linh Ung Buddhist Temple. • Bach Ma National Park. • Dragon Bridge. Near the giant ferris wheel on the Han River, there is a bridge with a massive metal dragon incorporated into it. At night it changes colors, and on Sunday nights around 8:30pm it spews fire and water.

Hạ Long Bay serves as the hub of a larger area that includes Bái Tử Long Bay to the northeast and Cát Bà islands to the southwest. MAIN TOURIST ATTRACTIONS - Ban Sen, a densely wooded, nearly uninhabited island that can be reached by ferry to Quan Lan from Cai Rong. - Cat Ba, the habitat of the endangered Ba langur, a national park, numerous caves, and the most frequented destination in Ha Long Bay for tourists. - Quan Lạn, a historically important remote island with the beginnings of some tourist infrastructure and several beautiful beaches. - Van Don, a large, well-populated island that is rarely visited by tourists and is connected by road to the mainland near Cửa Ông. - Dau Be Island. This is a highly favored spot for swimming and diving due to its abundant coral and deep grottoes with three inland lakes. - Bo Hon Island. The Virgin Cave (Hang Trinh Nu) is one of the most renowned caves in Halong Bay, particularly known for its shrine. The cave has two chambers, an outer one that is square-shaped and has a ceiling about 30 meters high. The inner chamber formations appear like sentries talking to each other, and another formation, resembling a general overseeing his troops, is situated in the middle of the chamber. The shifting light reflected from the water outside seems to animate these formations.
