Not to mention the beautiful traditional architecture of its temples, such as the Quan Su Pagoda. Hanoi is a city of both peace and hustle, bustling with street life and exotic markets, yet serene around the tranquil pagodas and temples. On September 5, 2008, Vinh was elevated to a Grade I city, making it the fourth city in Vietnam to achieve this status after Hai Phong, Da Nang, and Hué. The city has a population of 490,971.
